***Bowls Coordinator***
Established in 1964, South Tweed Sports is a medium-sized club located on the far north coast of New South Wales, featuring three championship greens and a picturesque setting along the Tweed River. Serving a diverse community of over 13,000 members and visitors, our not-for-profit organization is dedicated to making a positive impact through sports, social engagement, and sustainability initiatives. In alignment with this mission, our leadership team has recognized the need for a crucial position: the Bowls Coordinator, offered as a casual role.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Management, coordination, and development of bowling activities.
- Promote barefoot bowls events.
- Seek and maintain club sponsorships.
- Recruitment and development of bowlers.
- Maintain comprehensive membership records for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and execute planned tournaments.
- Foster a working relationship with the bowls committee.
- Develop activities to promote junior bowls participation.
- Promote the bowls profile of the club and increase bowls membership.
- Handle all administrative duties related to bowls, such as registrations and transfers in compliance with Bowls NSW.

***New Relieving Supervisor/Club Operations position available***
Are you a skilled hospitality worker who has supervisory experience and is looking for an exciting opportunity in the hospitality industry? Are you keen to also work front of house?
We have an exciting position available for a motivated individual to join our team as a Casual Club Operations/Relieving Supervisor at South Tweed Sports Club. As Casual Club Operations/Relieving Supervisor the role will also entail operational shifts which may include restaurant, café, gaming attendant, gaming cashier, bar, and function shifts.
Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional customer service to club members and guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
– Supervise and support staff members across various departments, including bar, gaming, restaurant, and events.
– Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the club and adherence to policies and procedures.
– Provide guidance and support to new staff members.
– Handle and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
– Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including responsible service of alcohol and gaming regulations.
Requirements:
– Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisor role at a previous employer, preferably in the hospitality industry.
– Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
– Strong customer service orientation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including RSA and RCG certifications.
– Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
– Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
– Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
– A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
