Responsible Conduct of Gambling is now law in NSW. What does this mean for the club?

A Gaming incident register is now mandatory. Please make sure to fill this in either by using the Cherrycheck app or in the green incident register books.

Responsible Gaming Officers (RGO) are now required to be on duty at all times the club is open and operating gaming machines.  If the club is open after midnight then a dedicated RGO must be on duty. If it is between club open and midnight, then the RGO can have other duties as well as perform their RGO duties.

A Gaming Plan of Management (GPOM) is a framework for patrons and venue staff to understand a venue’s responsible conduct of gambling obligations.
